Apartment Living Room
We still don't know the story behind the apartment. Was it lived in? Was it used for storage, was the water ever turned on? Was the power ever functioning? One thing is for sure, it smells horrible and the shag carpeting makes for a great mouse crap trap.
Apartment Living Room
From this angle you can see the 40's/50's era kitchen that was installed along with a selection of upper cabinetry that is well on it's way to matching the main house kitchen.
Apartment Entry Hall
We had high hopes that the fridge would come to life..they were dashed.
Apartment Kitchen
We also had hopes for using the stove, also dashed. Such is life, now there will be no "Harvest Gold" in the apartment. Mom is happy about that.
Apartment Bedroom
That is a king size headboard unit for scale. It is not staying.
Apartment Bedroom
Just a few of the many many bed frames and headboards the property is packed with. Good closets, if you look close you can see where some critter let himself in via the wall.
Apartment Bathroom
It's small, but everything appears to be brand new and perfectly serviceable.
Apartment Laundry
We never had any delusions about saving that dryer.
Apartment Laundry
It's a closet, a big one.
Apartment Entry Hall
Water heater, we have not idea if it works, it's in rough shape and has a garden hose attached. Your guess is as good as ours. It does appear to be a bit over sized for a one bedroom apartment though.
Garage Hall
What guy doesn't dream of his garage/man cave being pink.... This hall connects the apartment to a second exterior entrance and direct access from the southernmost garage bay.
Garage
Southernmost garage bay, or as we call it, "Bay 1". This will be used for storage long before a car will ever see the interior of it. For some reason all the garages were walled apart, on the plus side, you can see evidence of insulation around the apartment.
